Norman® Woodlore is engineered with a solid wood composite core—a blend of wood materials that delivers the beauty of real wood with superior durability. It uses up to 95% of wood materials in production (eco-friendly) and is specifically designed to handle temperature extremes, intense sunlight, and low humidity without warping or cracking. The finish is fade and stain resistant, and it comes in a wide range of colors.
Norman® Woodlore shutters are available in 2½", 3½", and 4½" louver sizes. Smaller louvers offer a more traditional plantation look and work well in smaller rooms or with windows you want to feel proportional. Larger louvers (3½"–4½") provide more unobstructed views when open and a more modern, airy appearance. During your in-home consultation, we'll show you samples on your actual windows so you can see exactly how each size looks in your space.
It starts with a free in-home consultation where the owners come to your home, review your windows, and walk you through Norman® options. We take precise custom measurements for every opening. Once your shutters are manufactured to spec, our experienced installer handles the installation—typically completing a whole home in one to two days. We do a final walkthrough with you to make sure everything looks and operates perfectly before we leave.
Most shutter companies build the cost of expensive showrooms and commissioned salespeople into their pricing. We operate without either. Absolutely. Many Arizona homes have oversized windows, wide sliding glass doors, and custom window shapes—arches, angles, and non-standard sizes. Norman® offers configurations specifically designed for these openings, and we custom-measure every one for a perfect fit. Patio and sliding door shutters are available in bypass and bifold configurations so they operate smoothly regardless of the opening width.
